The top-seeded Butte women's basketball has advanced to CCCAA Elite Eight for the second consecutive year. They earned their spot in the tournament after defeating Folsom Lake, 74-63, in the CCCAA Regional Final on March 4. Overall, Butte enters the contest with a 26-3 record.
Butte will face No. 4(S) Cypress College in the Elite Eight at the CCCAA State Championships on Friday, March 10 at 5 p.m. Competition for the women's bracket takes place at West Hills College Lemoore.
Tickets are on sale now. Ticket prices are $12 for adults and $8 for senior citizens (60+), children 12 years old or younger, students with valid ID, faculty and staff. Tickets are available through the CCCAA Box Office.
